Dear Fort Lee Board of Education Members:
As a member of the Fort Lee Community, I respectfully request that you bargain in good faith to settle the contract today rather than tomorrow. When Boards of Education value their employees by signing a contract in a timely manner, morale is boosted. When teachers, custodians, secretaries, and paraprofessionals feel appreciated for their countless efforts, student learning soars and staff work environments become more productive. Right now the most important thing is to get all individuals back to doing what they do best. Energy being spent elsewhere can truly go back to being spent on improving the educational outcomes of the students in Fort Lee.
